CFXtras is an online software reseller designed specifically for ColdFusion developers. ColdFusion is a programming language and application server sold by Macromedia, Inc, and enjoys an international user base of over 600,000 developers. ColdFusion can be used with Windows 2000, Windows NT, Unix, Solaris and Linux systems, and developers like ColdFusion for its short learning curve and fast development schedule. CFXtras provides software to ColdFusion developers that decreases development time and e-commerce costs, and increases code re-use.

People using CFXtras are designers and programmers whose work ranges from simple, static websites to dynamic, database-driven, high- volume websites. These include e-commerce and financial systems, software development shops, U.S. and foreign government, military and intranet systems. CFXtras sees from 2000 to over 4000 users each month, averaging 120 international visitors every day. We have over 1000 opt-in members on our mailing list, with 30 more added each week. CFXtras currently enjoys great relationships with numerous ColdFusion websites, and we actively advertise in print magazines. We receive a great deal of traffic from our member sites, and from websites of our developers.

CFXtras offers four routes for advertisers.

• An advertiser can purchase a monthly block of the 'Spotlight', a single page profiling developers, companies, or products. An HTML web page is required from the advertiser.
• CFXtras offers access to its mailing list. We do not sell or distribute the contents of our mailing list, but we will broadcast an email of your choosing, pending our approval. Additionally, CFXtras will insert a paragraph for you, the advertiser, in our regular weekly broadcast.
• CFXtras has a banner program that can display your banner on our site. You can purchase advertising in blocks of time, or by impression count (or a combination thereof).
• CFXtras has special sections on most pages of our site that randomly display news updates and advertising copy. CFXtras retains the right to modify, adapt, or otherwise change advertising copy in order to fit it to its allocated space. CFXtras enforces a 'first-person' relationship with its visitors, so copy from the advertiser must be approved. These sections are available for purchase in the same fashion as our banner ads.
