I recently started using Railo. Are components and extensions at CFXtras compatible with Railo?

Yes! Unless otherwise noted, all components are compatible with the latest stable release of Railo. CFXtras encourages and actively takes part in open-source projects and Railo is no exception. In fact, CFXtras.com is run on Railo!

Is the software at CFXtras written by CFXtras.com employees or other people?

Almost all of the software at CFXtras is written by a developer or company that does NOT work for CFXtras. Think of us as an ebay for software developers.

How long has CFXtras been around and how can I trust you? I am thinking about selling my Components on your site, but I don't want to get burned.

We get this question often. Our stance is this: Trust is built through experience. Use us for a while. You will see how we work and we know you will be pleased. Over time, trust will no longer be an issue and you will begin recommending us to your associates. We have been in business since January 2000. With top developers like Ben Forta, Andrei Oprea, Peter Bassey, and Al Nickles, you will see that our reputation speaks for itself. We have over 250 global developers selling their software on our site and we have never had a breach of trust. We are now over 10 years old and still the oldest trading floor for commercial ColdFusion custom tags, function and cfc's. We've been doing something right!

Is CFXtras related to Adobe Corporation?

CFXtras has no legal or business relationship with Adobe Corporation. CFXtras does not resell any Adobe products. CFXtras components and software can be but are not limited to be used with and to complement Adobe products.

I bought software at CFXtras, and didn't get my receipt or download instructions yet?

Our e-commerce website approves transactions almost instantly. If a transaction is declined, you will be notified on the website and you can attempt to remedy the issue then. If you transaction is approved, you are notified of your approval code and your download commences immediately. Within minutes, a receipt of your transaction is emailed to you. You will find on the receipt, at the bottom, instructions to download your purchase again, if you ever need to. Please save the receipt for your records.

I purchased a Component on your site but lost my download link. Can I get another copy?

Of course; this happens all the time. Buyers come back to us because a developer’s computer crashed or the server went ‘non compus mentus’. Just email us with your receipt of download instructions and we will enable your download for another 4 days.
