Steps for Selling your Code

1) Go through your code library and select a project.

As a developer, you probably have code you have already written that you know could be of value to others. Or maybe you have an idea for an application that you are sure others could use. Did you write a really great Flex component that others might find useful? These are the types of projects that you want to publish for sale on the site.

2) Package the code with instructions and examples.

The buyer doesn't know what you know about your code, so you need to make it easy for them to learn and implement it. Buyers like lots of examples and instructions. It doesn't take too long and it has a direct relationship to your sales. Well documented code, with examples, gets great reviews and great reviews bring great sales!

3) Email the package to our submissions group.

Once you think your ZIP file is ready to go, email it to submissions@cfxtras.com and it will be reviewed, tested and approved. We will send you feedback and once it is approved for sale, your seller account will be created. We go through this process to make sure our customers get the level of quality and ease they are expecting.

4) Login to see sales history and request funds.

Once your account has been set up, you can log in and review your sales history, see your current balance and request funds. For more details about our process, read our FAQ.
